How to get to Argentina and Terra Pampa

Terra Pampa is located in Caichue the biggest cattle breeding ranch in the Province of La Pampa, Argentina. It is situated on the Provincial Road 14, between the small villages of El Durazno and Jagüel del Monte, 150 kilometers away from Santa Rosa, the capital city of La Pampa province.


La Pampa climate is moderate with no particular rainy season. The seasons in the Southern hemisphere are opposed to the seasons in the northern hemisphere, with high temperatures from 30°F to 95°F depending on the season. The humidity is low. It is a great way to take a break from cold winters, or escape from summer heat. During Argentina summer, December, January and February temperatures raise up to 90°F. In March, April and May is moderate, with temperatures ranging between 59°F and 83°F. Light garments for the day and warmer clothes for mornings and evenings are recommended. In June, July and August, the climate can be quite cool with temperatures ranging between 32°F and 68°F. Therefore, warm garments are suggested.


There are cold nights until mid morning with temperatures which can vary between 2°C and 8°C, evenings are milder with temperatures between 12°C and 18°C


Freezing cold nights and mornings with temperatures between -5°C and -10°C , and evenings between 8°C and 10°C.


Cool nights and mornings, sometimes even cold with temperartures between 5°C and 10°C, and afternoons between 5ºC and 15°C.


Mild nights, occasionally cool, and hot days with temperatures which can sometimes exceed 35°C.

Hunting License and Tag

Terra Pampa se encarga de obtener la licencia de caza para cada cazador. Es importante que completen el PRETRIP FORM 30 días antes para obtenerla con tiempo. El costo de la licencia va a depender de la cantidad de animales (puede variar entre 300-400u$ aprox). El valor del precinto (tag) depende tambien de la cantidad de animales (100-200 u$).
